Meganisi is a breathtaking island in the Ionian Sea, located 4 nautical miles southeast of Lefkada. Meganisi, literally translated to “Big Island” is the largest island of a complex of islands including Scorpios, Thilia, Kythros and more. The island has three scenic villages: Vathi, Katomeri and Spartochori, each with its own unique beauty.The island has escaped mass tourism and with a bit of luck you can still find your own private beach or cove— some of which can only be reached by boat.
